Our CHEC ministry team has a big vision for Christ-centered, parent-directed home education here in Colorado and around the world. Each December, our executive director sends a letter to share how God is using CHEC to minister to families and what lies ahead in the coming year.
You can read the 2019 letter below (or download it here to read as a PDF).
Here are highlights from what 2019 looked like for CHEC and homeschooling in Colorado:
- During the 2019 Legislative Session, CHEC worked successfully against multiple imminent threats to homeschooling, including further regulations to homeschool and immunization requirements.
- At the forefront in the battle for liberty is the Colorado Homeschool Freedom Team, led by CHEC Legislative Liaison Carolyn Martin. You can be a part of it, too!
- CHEC launched ColoradoHomeschool.com to help Colorado parents learn the simple how-tos for homeschooling and help them take their first steps.
- Numerous events, including our sixth Homeschool Summits event, the annual Rocky Mountain Homeschool Conference, and various other events and seminars reached thousands of families across the globe!
- As we move into 2020, we desire to stay centered on our vision: to see families built up in Christ, marriages strengthened, and children discipled by their parents to love God with all their heart.
If you also desire to see families embrace this vision, then we would be grateful to have you join us! Please consider standing with us for homeschool liberty and discipleship by making a donation to CHEC with your year-end giving.
We look forward to what God will do in 2020!
