Ready or not … school is starting!
And there’s almost nothing as fun as new school materials. The aisles of new crayons, markers, and notebooks in stores right now are still as enticing to me as an adult as they were when I was being homeschooled. But as if those school supplies weren’t enough fun, new school books were always the most exciting part! Whether we were opening a box with some brand new workbooks or if they were new-to-us items from a used curriculum sale or garage sale, it really didn’t matter. Fresh school books were always exciting!
However, any homeschooling mom knows making curriculum choices isn’t all fun and games. Oftentimes the hardest part of a new school year is deciding what curriculum to use … switching out items that didn’t work well or deciding if it is time to try something new. Couple that with multiple children and a desire to be economical, and the curriculum game can be even more difficult.
That’s when it’s time to go to the CHEC Used Curriculum Sale! Are you looking for different school books and trying to save money? Shopping curriculum from other homeschool families is a win-win for everyone.
While sadly we were not able to host the Used Curriculum Sale as usual in conjunction with the annual Rocky Mountain Homeschool Conference due to COVID-19 this year, CHEC is so thankful to be able to bring you a one-day Used Curriculum Sale instead! There’s still time to make your plans to join us this Friday, August 14th (12-4pm in Elizabeth, Colorado) for a great day of shopping. Some curriculum treasures may be awaiting you on Friday!
