Homeschool group leaders in Colorado – you’re invited to this special weekend!
You spend your days pouring into others – encouraging, organizing, and serving families across our state. But even the most faithful leader needs a time to pause and be refreshed! That is what our Group Leader’s Round Up is all about! Give you a pause from your daily routine so we can pour into YOU.
This overnight event is reserved exclusively for CHEC’s network of homeschool group leaders, as well as their spouses and fellow leadership team members. It’s our way of saying “thank you” for the vital boots-on-the-ground work that you do in supporting your local homeschool community year-round.
Allow us the honor of serving you with a special weekend of worship, practical encouragement, and meaningful fellowship with other leaders who understand your calling! You’ll return home refreshed, strengthened, and equipped to lead with renewed joy, and you’ll receive a fresh vision to share with your group for home-based discipleship.
Group Leader’s Round Up Location
This year, we’re meeting up at the highly-rated Hideaway Inn and Conference Center in the beautiful Black Forest near Colorado Springs.
If you’ve never come to one of our Round-Ups before, this is the perfect year to join us for the first time! And if you have come before, you already know what a life-giving experience is in store for you again!
2026 Theme: “For Such a Time as This” (Esther 4:14)
God has placed you in leadership “for such a time as this.” Our speakers will remind you why your work matters, refresh you with encouragement in Christ, and rekindle your vision for home-based discipleship.

Registration
Date: January 16-17, 2026
Location: The Hideaway Inn and Conference Center, 3805 Walker Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80908
Cost:
- $120/person – Early bird discount through midnight on December 19, 2025
- $135/person – Regular registration
Includes: Overnight lodging, three delicious meals, and all sessions. Group leaders who attend with their spouse will receive a private room. Other guests will receive their own twin bed with a shared room and bathroom.
What to Expect:
Friday Evening 6pm-9pm
Doors open at 4pm for check-in, leaving plenty of time to settle in before our 6pm dinner, where you’ll meet new friends and enjoy conversation with fellow group leaders from across the state. After dinner and time of worship, Kevin Swanson will kick us off with his keynote message, and then we’ve built in time for you to also participate in small-group-style fellowship time that will encourage and inspire you in your leadership journey.
Saturday 9am-4pm
We’ll begin the day with breakfast and more fellowship before breaking into a series of dynamic sessions designed to strengthen your leadership and your community impact. We’ll hear from experienced homeschool leaders and ministry speakers who will share insight, encouragement, and practical wisdom. You’ll also have the opportunity to choose from focused workshops that address topics of interest to you. Throughout the day, you’ll connect with other leaders, exchange creative ideas, and leave on Saturday afternoon equipped to serve your families with fresh vigor and vision!
