I hope that if you are homeschooling in Colorado, you have joined the Colorado Homeschool Freedom Team! There are forces that are continually working against all that we hold dear! Our right to direct the upbringing of our children, our ability to live and act according to our conscience, and our freedom to educate our children in the way of the Lord are all under attack across the nation.

None of us can do it alone. Each of us has a role to play in maintaining our liberties. I know you all are busy homeschool families and what you are doing is of the utmost importance, but there are still things you can do to help that don’t take much time and could even be incorporated into your teaching.

• Stay informed by reading this blog!
• Join the Colorado Homeschool Freedom Team and sign up to pray for our leaders!
• Get to know who your legislators are on a personal level (find your legislator here).
• Vote for leaders who will uphold our liberties. This November’s election is critical! It will determine the trajectory of the state for decades to come. See my end-of-session report for the current legislators’ voting record.
• Plan to join me at CHECs Meet Your Legislator Day and Homeschool Day at the Capitol.
• Become familiar with the Colorado Constitution and the homechool law.
