Colorado Homeschool Events

It’s time to pack up the car, grab a sack lunch, and head out for another field trip adventure! Whether it’s taking your preschoolers to the zoo or walking a high school student through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, field trips are a great way to get your kids excited about learning.

CHEC is excited to introduce another resource to help homeschool families in Colorado. The new Colorado Events Calendar page will feature upcoming homeschool days, free days, and other homeschool-friendly activities located across Colorado. Stay tuned for Denver Zoo Free Days, the Space Discovery Center’s monthly homeschool days, and special historical events like Rock Ledge Ranch’s annual Sheep Shearing.

But it’s not always easy to afford museum tickets for the whole family. After all, $15 times five (or six or seven) people starts to add up! For this reason, we’ll be posting upcoming free days to Colorado museums, orchestras, and other educational establishments.
