Davis Dyslexia Association International – Information and training in the methods described in the book “The Gift of Dyslexia.” This is a very kinesthetic approach good for those who are extreme in the dyslexia scale.
Gifted Development Center – Assessment and development of gifted individuals of all ages; also offers testing for dyslexia.
HSLDA Struggling Learners– Includes some great information on beginning diagnosis.
Learning Disabilities Association of America – LDA provides information, solutions and resources to support people with learning disabilities and those that care for and educate them.
NATHHAN (National Challenged Homeschoolers Associated Network) – A support network to encourage and equip parents who homeschool children with special needs or disabilities.
National Down Syndrome Society – Not specific to home education but does provide helpful information.
Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association – This organization has support groups (primarily in the Colorado front range area) and some parent education and is a great resource for DS. However, they do not provide any specific supports for home education.
Understood.org – Offers resources and support for learning and attention issues. A lot of general information helpful to parents.

Children’s Speech and Reading Center – CSRC is Northern Colorado’s only 501(c)(3) speech-language therapy provider. We provide free screening of all children and our speech-language–reading therapy sessions are provided on a sliding scale fee structure that goes from full fee to zero.
