- Host multiple Introduction to Homeschooling Seminars for new homeschool parents to get answers, develop a plan, and feel supported as they get started
- Equip parents starting high school with our High School and Beyond Seminar, to help them successfully navigate high school and prepare their teens to step boldly into adulthood as faithful followers of Jesus
- Offer discipleship-focused events like the Rocky Mountain Homeschool Conference for the entire family, two Father-Son Retreats to promote godly manhood, the Refresh Ladies’ Conference to encourage homeschool moms, and free online Homeschool Summits events
- Support for single homeschool moms through our annual Casterline Banquet and curriculum cost assistance
- New outreach initiatives to connect with more parents through the work of our full-time Outreach Director
- Personal connections with isolated homeschool families in rural communities across our state through our Whistle Stop Tours
- Developing partnerships with pastors and local churches, and equipping them to encourage the home-education lifestyle in their congregations and communities
- Making legal compliance simple and easy for Colorado homeschool families through the CHEC Independent School
- Free one-on-one support, encouragement, and prayer from CHEC staff members who answer thousands of phone calls and emails from parents in all stages of the homeschool journey
- 25+ new episodes of the Colorado Homeschool Podcast to encourage parents with a God-centered approach to home education
- Weekly articles, encouragement, and updates on the CHEC Blog, all based on biblical truth and the experience of veteran homeschool parents
- Free printed magazine mailed three times a year to homeschool families across Colorado
- Monitoring hundreds of new bills in the upcoming legislative session, watching for potential threats to homeschool freedom, parental rights, and religious liberty in Colorado
- Provide opportunities for families to build good relationships with our elected lawmakers and present a positive image of homeschooling through our annual homeschool freedom events like Meet Your Legislator Day and Homeschool Day at the Capitol
