Become an Ambassador
Are you passionate about homeschooling? Do you want to help others discover the joy of homeschooling? Christian Home Educators of Colorado invites you to become a CHEC Ambassador. It is a unique opportunity to connect, encourage, and support homeschool families across our state. As a CHEC Ambassador, you’ll represent our mission, share valuable resources, and help strengthen the network of homeschoolers in Colorado. Join us in equipping families and making a lasting difference!
Roles & Responsibilities
- As a CHEC Ambassador, your role is to intentionally share the hope and help of home education in your community. You are a volunteer representative of CHEC—equipped with resources, encouragement, and support—to build bridges, answer questions, and make the homeschool journey more accessible for families.
- Each Ambassador is asked to participate in at least three outreach activities over the course of the year. These activities are flexibly defined and can be shaped around your strengths, connections, and availability. Some examples include:
- Running a CHEC vendor table at an existing event or homeschool conference.
- Identifying and recommending local events where CHEC could be represent and facilitating the event.
- Attending homeschool events and distributing CHEC flyers or resources.
- Engaging with homeschool families online by answering questions in local social media groups and sharing links to CHEC tools.
- Hosting or helping with local information workshops about homeschooling.
- Passing out flyers or having conversations with curious families at the park, church, or co-op, church, etc.
- Sharing your own story and encouraging others one-on-one.
- These are just a few possibilities—what matters most is your intentionality in helping families discover the resources and support they need to homeschool with confidence.
- CHEC will provide the tools and training to make this role both purposeful and personal. As a formal representative of CHEC, Ambassadors are expected to participate in the application process and agree to represent CHEC’s mission with integrity, grace, and clarity.
- Commit to the program for 1 year with a minimum of 3 outreach activities.
