Homeschooling has been free here in Colorado for over 30 years now, thanks to faithful partnerships and God’s kind blessing. (Remember the history of homeschooling?)

The Colorado legislator closed their session this May with a whopping 705 bills introduced, including numerous attacks on parental rights and religious liberty. As the Left continues to dominate Colorado’s state politics, your homeschool freedom is facing threats.

CHEC’s Homeschool Freedom Team, lead by Carolyn Martin, is committed to faithfully standing watch — and taking action — to protect your homeschool freedom, parental rights, and religious liberty, for now and future generations. And we need you to stand with us. As threats to parent-led homeschooling increase, the Colorado Homeschool Freedom Team MUST expand to meet the growing need, including hiring a legislative assistant to help Carolyn.

This summer, we’re raising $35,000 to fill the Colorado Homeschool Freedom Fund (CHF Fund) so we’re poised to continue strong into the coming year.

How you can contribute to Homeschool Freedom in Colorado

The CHF Fund drives all of CHEC’s legislative work, including the staff position of our CHEC Director of Government Relations. Many of you know Carolyn Martin, and how she works faithfully throughout the year (during the legislative session and beyond) to examine hundreds of bills, communicate graciously with legislators in personal meetings, prepare regular prayer reports to keep Colorado families informed, and much more.

The CHF Fund also helps our CHEC staff team to keep communication running smoothly via the website, blog, email newsletters, phone calls, social media posts, and more — essential for keeping you informed and engaged as we stand together for freedom.

This behind-the-scenes work helps to keep you and thousands of other homeschool-freedom-loving families informed on things that matter — and then ready to take action when needed.

This summer, we’re in need of families from around the state to help us reach our goal of $35,000 in the CHF Fund by July 31st. (You can make a one-time donation, or set up a monthly recurring gift.)
