Last weekend, CHEC held its first annual Homeschool Leadership Retreat at the beautiful Glen Eyrie Conference Center in Colorado Springs. About 50 homeschool group leaders from around the state attended the retreat, maxing out the space we had reserved!

Our dear friend, Treon Goossen, passed away last night (Monday, May 9th) at 8:20 pm. Treon has been a tremendous champion for homeschool freedom in Colorado for many years and so this is a significant loss to the homeschool community.
I would like to wish all of our dear homeschool friends a heartfelt “Happy New Year” from my family and the team here at CHEC. I am thankful that God is granting us another year to serve your family and I am excited about what God has in store!
