We’ve enjoyed the faithfully-fought-for freedom to homeschool here in Colorado for over 30 years now. (Remember the history of homeschooling?)
But times are changing. This year, an onslaught of bills were presented in our state legislature that directly opposed our God-given parental rights and religious liberty.
CHEC Homeschool Legislative Liaison Carolyn Martin and her team of volunteers worked faithfully at all hours and often on little sleep throughout the legislative session. The work can be overwhelming —
- examining hundreds of bills
- communicating graciously with legislators in personal meetings
- presenting testimony in hearings
- and keeping you alerted to issues regarding parental rights, religious liberty, and homeschool freedom.
Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.
CHEC is committed to this vigilance of faithful work to protect your homeschool freedom and that of future generations. By God’s grace, we will continue to stand strong through work at the Capitol and around the state.
But we can’t continue alone. There is a cost.
The Colorado Homeschool Freedom Fund is behind all the legislative work that happens through the ministry of CHEC. We’re in need of 25 new families who will commit to making a monthly recurring donation to this fund, and our goal is to reach this by July 31st.
Your monthly donation be set up to be automatically paid, either from your checking account (via ACH automatic withdrawal) or via your credit card, and all donations are tax-deductible.
Will you consider making this commitment to stand with CHEC in the guardianship of homeschool freedom here in Colorado?
