Inspiring Confidence in Moms New to Homeschooling by Barb West
Starting out as a new homeschooler can be a daunting task. Often self-doubt and fear plague us. Pressure to choose the perfect curricula, administer tests, keep records, research teaching styles and methods, as well as manage and orchestrate a busy home are more than enough to overwhelm even the strongest of women. As you begin to walk out this new homeschooling lifestyle and disciple your children, there are some simple tools you can employ to launch you on your way.
A Vision for Homeschooling by Don and Trish Nelson
Homeschooling is about repairing parent/child relationships. In a culture where families are torn in too many directions, we need to stand in the gap and raise up a generation that seeks God’s truth above their own desires. In God’s economy, turning the hearts of parents and children back toward one another is of premium importance.
It’s time that Christians reclaim the ground stolen by a corrupt world and stand on God’s truth once again. Strong, biblical families will produce a generation of strong culture changers. It’s time for us to come together and pursue God’s calling in all areas of our lives, starting with our family relationships.
