One of the main highlights of the year was hearing from Voddie Baucham, Dean of the Seminary at African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia. His humor and engaging style had the audience riveted as he addressed topics such as Teaching Your Children with Your Grandchildren in Mind, Getting Your House in Order, and The Role of the Father in Home Education/Discipleship.
In addition, Walk Through the Bible’s Phil Tuttle emphasized how God is using the Millennial generation. He left the audience not only with their sides hurting from laughing, but also strongly encouraged in their vision of passing on the baton to the next generation.
Speakers like Rob Rienow, Kevin Swanson, and Steve and Megan Scheibner were also highlights of the conference.
Pilgrim: A Musical, presented by Walk by Faith Theatre, was also packed out on both Thursday and Saturday’s showings!
The exhibit hall was filled with a wide array of curriculum providers, homeschool-friendly businesses, and much more. Attendees had an enjoyable time shopping, with a lot of great fellowship mixed in! And the Thursday evening Exhibit Hall Grand Opening Party was, as someone mentioned, like Black Friday for homeschoolers — awesome deals and giveaways galore!
The Cherry Creek Youth Orchestra also surprised shoppers one night with a musical flash mob! Attendees enjoyed singing patriot songs along with a growing number of young orchestra members!
Friday night was also a blast, with the Flying W Wranglers kicking off the evening with some AMAZING fiddling, country music, yodeling, and much more!
Thank you to everyone who came! We pray the conference was a huge encouragement to you and your family!
Can’t wait to see you again next year!
