Blessing single moms …
Homeschooling as a single mom isn’t an easy calling, and we feel honored to say “thank you” to these hardworking moms who sacrifice so much for the next generation. Last week, we had the opportunity to gather some of these moms together and bless them with a special dinner and an evening of pampering.
If you’re interested in joining us as we encourage single homeschooling moms in Colorado, consider donating to the Casterline Widow’s Fund.
The Casterline Widow’s Fund was started by Nancy Casterline, a widow who knew the challenges of homeschooling alone. Nancy and her husband Larry, both long-time CHEC volunteers, were serving on the CHEC conference committee when Larry passed away in his sleep the night before the conference. Today the Casterline Fund helps single moms with curriculum costs, Independent School enrollment, and more.
