As an extension of our vision and mission, CHEC founded and continues to support these ministries.
In 2003, CHEC sponsored the first Generations Radio Program, hosted as a weekend program by at-the-time CHEC executive director Kevin Swanson. In 2007, Generations Radio reached 150,000 episodes a year and became a separate ministry under CHEC.
Today, Generations exists to serve Christians around the world with timely, Biblical ministries that address the needs of Christian families seeking to disciple their families in the truth of God’s word in its relevance to all of life. Generations, in partnership with CHEC, also founded the AME Program and Christian Family Eldercare.
AME (Apprenticeship, Mentorship, and Entrepreneurship) desires to promote life-preparation opportunities for students beyond K-12 education that will adequately prepare them for the calling God has upon their lives and thereby impacting the world for Christ. Learn more here.
Christian Family Eldercare was founded to integrate eldercare within the biblical family lifestyle, providing care that is biblically honoring, family-oriented, and cross-generational. Its goal is to follow Christ’s example to honor and care for our parents, love the elderly among us, serve the widow, and strive to make eldercare a relationship-centered reality. Learn more here.
