Parking Information

Heading downtown, especially with children in tow, can be a daunting experience.  Here is some information and options for parking and travel that we hope will serve you as you make the sacrifice of time and effort to show your support for home education!

There are a couple ways to get downtown to Day at the Capitol:

1. Drive.  The city of Denver has a fantastic website with information on and locations of parking lots all over downtown.  The map includes rate information.  Visit this map here!  Please remember that there is no parking available at Pillar of Fire Church (1340 Sherman St.), or the Capitol.  Carpooling can be an easy way to cut costs and have fun with friends!

2. You can also take the light rail or bus.  The train comes within a few blocks of the Capitol and Pillar of Fire Church which is located at 1340 Sherman St.  Click here for route, schedule, and price information.

  Dress Code

Due to the formal business attire at the Capitol, all attendees should dress in church or  business attire - first impressions are important!

Please also keep your children quietly and respectfully by your side and encourage them to dress nicely and speak kindly!
