After leaving the corporate real estate world in 1997, Mike opened a hot dog stand in downtown Denver and, later, a real estate brokerage from their home, allowing him to spend more time with his family.   Mike’s passion is to see the Lord turn the hearts of men to their wives and children and to see them freed from the trappings of their occupations which comes at the expense of their families.  The Cheneys are blessed to serve CHEC as Conference Coordinators since 2001. Mike has served as CHEC's Operations Director since January 2002.
